Cricket Clubs in UAE - Verified Grounds, Academies & Coaching Facilities

Cricket Clubs in Dubai and the UAE

Cricket holds a uniquely strong position in the UAE's sporting culture, driven by a large South Asian resident population and Dubai's role as headquarters for the International Cricket Council (ICC). Dubai International Stadium, located within Dubai Sports City, has hosted major international fixtures and IPL matches, cementing the emirate's status as a global cricket venue. Despite this cultural weight, DCCIInfo currently verifies only 2 cricket clubs in the UAE directory — a gap that reflects how much of the UAE's cricket activity is organized through the Emirates Cricket Board, private academies, and community leagues rather than commercially listed clubs, and it positions this page as an opportunity to become the leading UAE B2B reference point for the category.

What Is a Cricket Club in the UAE Context?

A cricket club in the UAE typically refers to a facility or organization offering cricket grounds, coaching academies, junior development programs, or membership-based playing access. This includes large multi-sport developments like Dubai Sports City, which operates cricket stadium and academy facilities alongside real estate and other sports infrastructure, as well as smaller specialist coaching academies. Many community and school-level cricket programs also operate informally through sports councils and expatriate associations without appearing as standalone commercial listings.

DCCIInfo verifies 2 cricket clubs in the UAE today, and given the sport's outsized cultural and commercial importance in the country, this page is built as the most comprehensive B2B cricket club resource available in the GCC directory space, designed to attract both playing members and new academy or facility operators seeking a free listing.

Final Thoughts

Cricket's popularity in the UAE far outpaces the number of commercially listed clubs, making this a high-opportunity category for both new listings and buyers searching for grounds, coaching, or tournament venues. The gap between the sport's cultural footprint and its formal business directory presence is unusual compared to most other UAE sports categories, and it reflects how much cricket activity in the country runs through governing bodies and informal community networks rather than registered commercial entities. DCCIInfo's verified cricket club directory, anchored by facilities like Dubai Sports City, aims to grow into the definitive UAE resource for cricket clubs, academies, and stadium facilities as more operators claim their free listing.
